Post-Nuptial Wedding Reception
Many couples planning a destination wedding, will have a private wedding ceremony
with a larger wedding reception upon their return home. One such customer is Mary Clark
who sent us the following message (for privacy we've changed her name.)
Hello! My name is Mary Clark
and I will be getting married soon and it is now time to think about invitations
the only problem I am running into is that my fiancé and I are getting married
on Maui and can’t figure out how to work out the invitations because we won’t be
having a ceremony here locally? Do you guys have invitations or ideas to a
“reception in celebration of a wedding?” If you could let me know asap that
would be great.
Our response was:
Dear Mary,
Congratulations, I can just imagine how beautiful
your wedding will be on Maui! A tropical themed post-wedding reception back
home sounds like a great way to celebrate your marriage with family and
friends. Since your ceremony will have already taken place, play your ceremony
video during your wedding reception so everyone can feel as though "they were
there."
Are you planning to invite friends and family to Maui or are you going to have a
private ceremony with a post-wedding reception at home?
If others will be included at the ceremony, I would have a small
number of wedding ceremony invitations printed for those guests invited to Maui
and another wedding reception invitation for everyone else invited to the
post-wedding reception following your return.
