Wedding music is generally compiled of joyous and solemn songs that are consistent with the seriousness of the marriage ceremony. The wedding music you choose will welcome guests, signify the progression of your ceremony and set the festive mood of your reception. Because there is an overwhelming amount of wedding music to choose from, we have organized the following wedding songs by category for each specific part of the ceremony and reception. With each wedding song we have tried to include also the artist name and album to assist you in finding the selection at a local music store or online. We recommend spending some time at a large music store or bookstore such as Barnes and Noble where earphones are available to listen to the wedding songs. Also, you may find a selection of wedding music at the listening section of your local public or university library.

Note of caution: Remember if your ceremony is taking place in a house of worship, you must be sure your selection of wedding music is acceptable. Check with the officiant or music director to determine if there are any rules which dictate the wedding songs allowed during the ceremony.
